About the role

Job Summary

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that product quality specifications are in compliance with corporate and customer standards. This includes supporting the implementation of QA/QC policies, conducting inspections, and assisting in vendor evaluations.

• Performs gage calibration for the measurement instruments for which there is in-house calibration capabilities;
• Selects and interacts with calibration vendors providing calibration services for manufacturing measurement instruments;
• Performs incoming inspection for designated parts. Fills out and files all the Vendor Corrective Action Requests for problems found in manufacturing;
• Participates in process improvement and scrap/rework reduction efforts throughout the manufacturing;
• Monitors the quality of vendor foundries as described in the quality system;
• Responsible for quality system documentation in his/her area. Facilitates compliance with procedures and work instructions
• Follow procedures according to ISO 9001
