Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a quality or manufacturing role
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Word
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Must haves

  • Perform detailed inspections on inbound vendor materials and outbound finished products to verify compliance with strict aerospace specifications
  • Generate thorough documentation for non-conformances and track corrective actions through resolution
  • Develop and maintain inspection checklists tailored to evolving production processes
  • Collaborate directly with department managers to coordinate inspection activities and improve quality workflows
  • Segregate, document, and control defective or suspect materials to prevent production impact
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready quality records across multiple stages of production
  • Support internal quality education efforts by identifying recurring issues and sharing insights with production teams

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience working in an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Background in continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives
  • Experience participating in internal or external quality audits
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams
