Incoming Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

Our client is looking for an Incoming Quality Inspector. This role is vital in ensuring the integrity and quality of fabricated sheet metal and machined parts within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an Incoming Quality Inspector, you will perform receiving inspections, verify product compliance to blueprints and specifications, and utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure conformance. You might also read and interpret engineering blueprints, including GD&T, and document inspection results meticulously. If you have experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), especially with recent training opportunities on new equipment, or a strong background in quality control processes like ISO, this position is perfect for you. It offers a chance to work in an ITAR facility with local candidates only and requires strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Work Schedule:
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing mechanical inspection or quality control
• Proficiency in using precise measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
• Experience with ISO quality systems and document control
• Strong attention to detail with defect detection and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
