Quality Inspector

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

* Conduct full open-setup inspection of parts and roaming inspections of finished machined parts throughout the shop

* Set up, calibrate, and perform R&R studies on gauges

* Partner with various teams to address and resolve issues

* Train machinists and quality inspectors

* Maintain documentation

* Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications of the Quality Inspector * 2+ years in a manufacturing quality systems role * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent field experience * Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint interpretation, layout inspection, and various inspection gauges methods and technologies * Knowledge of ISO-9001 and AS9100 quality management systems * Knowledge of Gage Trak functions, CMM operation, and PPAP preferred * Positive, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Basic computer skills The Quality Inspector works Monday through Friday from 2:30pm-11:00pm.
