This position performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished goods to validate conformance to blueprints and instructions by customers, and to company operating procedures by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.Candidates are required to possess a basic understanding of manufacturing and quality processes (Internal Procedures, ISO 9001, etc.). Must be able to use various precision equipment including (but not limited to) Micrometers, Calipers, Fixtures, Thread Gages etc.Basic blueprint reading & GD&TGood mechanical aptitudeBasic understating of manufacturing processes (machined components, hose, tube, bending, welding etc.)Visual InspectionAbility to use basic hand measuring toolsProduct dimensional inspectionAbility to read and interpret specifications/technical dataElementary level shop mathReviews CertificationsMaintains inspection reports/logs as requiredResults and action oriented. Meets productivity standards (as defined by management),completes work in a timely mannerMaintains and promotes a clean, FOD free, and organized work areaSafety-minded and adheres to all company policies and practices safe work habitsHas a can-do attitude. Approaches others in a tactful and respectful manner. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
