Role: QA Engineer Automated 3
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid ? 2 days onsite Monday & Tuesday , 3 days remote)
Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of QA Automation experience
  
• Strong experience with database testing and automation scripting
  
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, test environments, and execution strategies
  
• Functional, regression, and application testing experience
  
• Strong SDLC knowledge
  
• Ability to analyze requirements and update test documentation
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  

Important:

• Candidates must already reside in Texas.
  
• Local Austin candidates only (within 50 miles of Austin).
  
• Do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and planning to relocate.
  
• Hybrid role with mandatory onsite presence on Mondays and Tuesdays .
  

JD:

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of 1 QA Engineer Automated 3 , hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of QA Engineer Automated 3 and the specifications outlined in this document for the above-named customer.

QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.
? Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications.
? Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases.
? Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
? Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues.
? Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing.
? Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
? Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
? Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and objectives.
