The Opportunity This role is responsible for inspecting printed materials and cartons at various stages of production to ensure they meet customer requirements and internal quality standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with GMP and SOP requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform inprocess inspections using statistical sampling plans. Visually inspect printed materials for printing, diecutting, and gluing defects. Record and maintain accurate inspection and production records. Conduct testing methods such as scanner challenges and scale count verification. Inspect finished pallets prior to shipping and determine acceptability or place on Quality Hold. Ensure materials placed on Quality Hold are properly documented and moved to designated areas. Communicate with production teams to address and correct quality issues during runs. Review job specifications and standards prior to production startup. Perform and document line clearance before each job. Establish and verify case counts for new jobs and monitor consistency. Perform additional duties as assigned to support quality and production operations. What You Need to Succeed Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction when needed. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to distinguish between acceptable and nonconforming material. Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail. Willingness to work overtime as needed, including during peak production periods. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
