PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for an exciting onsite opportunity in Mountainhome. This role is ideal for a proven quality leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and is passionate about ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

As a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and regulatory stakeholders, you will play a critical role in driving quality initiatives, supporting program execution, and maintaining industry-leading standards across aerospace operations.

Position Details

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Assignment)

Location: Onsite in Mountainhome, PA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $82.87 per hour

What You'll Do

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you'll oversee quality-focused program execution while serving as a cross-functional leader supporting customer satisfaction, operational performance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate program deliverables and administrative efforts to ensure:

On-time delivery

Budget alignment

Quality performance

Scope execution

Serve as the primary cross-functional liaison between internal teams, customers, and program stakeholders

Support and maintain quality management systems and compliance initiatives

Act as a key point of contact for customer performance and quality-related communications

Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement

Help ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements

Support audits, reporting activities, and corrective action initiatives

Lead quality-focused problem solving and operational improvement efforts

Foster strong communication and accountability across program teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of related experience

Prior experience in aerospace quality assurance or a comparable manufacturing industry such as automotive manufacturing

Experience coordinating program deliverables, customer expectations, and operational priorities

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment and collaborate across multiple functions

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience serving as the point of contact for maintaining AS9100 certification

Previous experience in a people leadership role

Experience acting as a liaison between customers, regulatory agencies, and internal operational teams

Background in continuous improvement and quality systems management within aerospace manufacturing

Pay Details: $82.87 per hour
