What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be hands-on in the production environment, partnering with operations to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting pre-operational inspections to ensure readiness
  • Performing and documenting quality checks; reporting any variances
  • Monitoring product and cooler temperatures
  • Verifying labels, weights, and metal detection systems
  • Ensuring sanitation standards and GMP compliance are followed
  • Testing sanitizer and chemical concentrations
  • Auditing departments for quality and food safety compliance
  • Performing basic sensory evaluations of products
  • Supporting customer specification requirements
  • Entering and tracking quality data in spreadsheets
  • Participating in HACCP and Food Safety Plan activities
  • Assisting with FSMA validation studies and special projects
What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
  • Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working independently when needed
  • Ability to read, write, and understand procedures in English
  • Bilingual skills (a plus, but not required)
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in food production or quality assurance
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with environmental monitoring (preferred)
  • HACCP knowledge or experience (a plus)
Physical & Work Environment

This role works directly on the production floor and includes:

  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Exposure to cold, heat, humidity, and food production environments
  • Working around machinery and food-grade chemicals
  • Tasks that may include bending, kneeling, or climbing stairs/ladders
Schedule & Expectations
  • Full-time position
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs
  • No travel required
