Quality Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician who is comfortable using gauges and measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, and hand tools. The role involves conducting quality inspections through microscopes, requiring precision down to inches and millimeters. Basic math skills are essential. You will be responsible for transferring parts from the production floor to the lab and performing metallurgical, dimensional, and visual inspections on the products. Responsibilities Use gauges and measurement devices such as micrometers and calipers for accurate assessments. Conduct quality inspections through microscopes with precision down to inches and millimeters. Transfer parts from the production floor to the lab for further inspection. Perform metallurgical, dimensional, and visual inspections on products. Enter data accurately using Microsoft Excel and manage basic data entry tasks. Utilize SAP knowledge for efficient data management, if applicable. Essential Skills Proficiency in using inspection tools including micrometers and calipers. Experience in quality control, blueprint reading, and quality checks. 3-6+ years of quality experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Automotive industry experience is a plus.
