As a Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist at Hitachi Energy, youll help ensure the delivery of highquality products that support critical energy systems around the world. This role offers handson involvement with manufacturing and inspection processes, close collaboration with crossfunctional teams, and exposure to complex quality challenges that stretch your skills and expertise.

Youll contribute to building and maintaining robust quality systems, interpreting detailed drawings, and supporting processes that uphold regulatory and internal standards. Your work will directly influence product reliability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How youll make an impact

  • Support the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies

  • Apply established standards to manufacturing and assembly processes

  • Provide reporting on quality activities, progress, and outcomes

  • Perform daily tracking and observation of inprocess inspections

  • Support quality documentation and inspection record completion

  • Assist with audits and nonconforming material controls

  • Promote quality awareness through training support

  • Partner with manufacturing teams on customerspecific requirements

Your background

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Business Operations, Engineering, or related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing operations

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes

  • Proven ability to address quality issues efficiently and effectively
