Our client, a leader in the life sciences and laboratory industry, is seeking a dedicated QA Data Specialist to join their team. As a QA Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting laboratory compliance and data integrity initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Upper Merion, PA
Pay Range: #39/hr
Contract: 9 Months

What's the Job?

This role is responsible for reviewing laboratory data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and data integrity standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical laboratory knowledge, and experience working within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review laboratory data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply data integrity principles, including ALCOA standards, during the review process.
  • Manage data lifecycle activities, including review, approval, and archiving of laboratory records.
  • Ensure documentation meets internal and external standards for quality, accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Monitor and update tracking tools to provide visibility into review status, timelines, and outstanding items.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data review processes, efficiency, and overall quality performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of quality systems, data review tools, and product-specific requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific/technical discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience reviewing large volumes of laboratory data with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • cGxP regulations
    • Data Integrity requirements
    • ALCOA principles
  • Experience with laboratory operations and technical understanding of analytical assays.
  • Experience with SAP, LES,WebStatistica, Empower, Hamilton
  • Experience with one or more of the following lab analytical techniques: Separations, immunoassays, microbiology
