Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to support a growing manufacturing operation focused on production projects and new product introduction (NPI) activities. This role will work closely with Quality Engineers, production teams, and auditors to develop and maintain work instructions, support training initiatives, and drive quality processes throughout production. Job Duties: Support Quality Engineers with production and NPI-related quality activities Develop, revise, and maintain detailed work instructions, MDIs, inspection procedures, and training documentation Assist in building quality documentation and processes from scratch based on production needs Train auditors and production personnel on quality procedures and work instructions Collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to improve communication and reduce operational gaps Think proactively about potential production or process failures and help implement preventative solutions Support inspection planning and quality process execution throughout manufacturing operations Assist with software-related instructions and documentation as production evolves Maintain urgency and adaptability in a changing production environment Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive teamwork across departments Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required Prior experience creating or maintaining work instructions, SOPs, inspection documents, or process documentation preferred NPI (New Product Introduction) experience is strongly preferred Strong technical writing and communication skills Ability to work closely with engineers, technicians, and auditors in a production setting Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think outside the box Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ownership Prior experience in critical power or similar manufacturing environments is a plus Leadership potential and desire to grow into engineering or assistant management roles preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
