Quality Assurance Consultant III

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

• Technical BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing
• Experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium/Tosca for UI and database
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, ETL technologies
• Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using Joins
• Experience with Unix and the ability to write and execute Unix commands
• Hands-on agile experience
• Prior work experience in the banking domain
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

• Experience with test management software (e.g., qTest, Octane)
• Familiarity with the life cycle of projects (SIT, UAT)
• Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements
• Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in the given sprint as per story acceptance criteria
• Automate test cases in User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium/Tosca
• Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results
• Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutions
• Apply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation
