Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that DSV's transportation and logistics operations comply with company quality standards and customer requirements. They will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and processes
Conduct audits and inspections of transportation and logistics operations to identify quality issues
Create corrective action plans and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements
Develop and maintain metrics to track quality performance
Analyze data and identify trends to improve quality performance
Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure compliance
Provide training and support to employees on quality management systems and processes
Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of quality issues
Ensure that all regulatory and legal requirements related to quality are met.
Educational background / Work experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry. Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of quality management systems and processes
Ability to conduct audits and inspections
Experience in developing and implementing corrective action plans
Analytical skills to identify trends and improve quality performance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
May be responsible for supervising quality assurance technicians.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Professional certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma Language skills
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software is preferred.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $64,000.00 $75,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
