The Quality Assurance Auditor reports to the Manager - Quality Assurance. The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible to conduct and manage surveillance of the performance and effectiveness of company's inspection program and the programs covering other maintenance, preventative maintenance and alterations, and the correction of any deficiency in those programs in accordance with Aloha Air Cargo Continuing Analysis Surveillance System (CASS) and FAR 121.373. Responsible for enforcement and sustaining the FAA's Safety Assurance System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits of the aircraft records to determine:
a. Accuracy of Maintenance Scheduling
b. Compliance with Airworthiness Directives
c. Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations
d. Effectiveness of Corrective Actions
e. Maintenance forms comply with approved company procedures concerning deferrals, write-ups, correct references, and signature sign-off
f. Compliance with technical work instructions and accuracy
Perform audits of company manuals, work forms, and publications for accuracy, currency, and availability to the user
Determine that maintenance is performed in accordance with procedures, standards, and techniques specified in the applicable manuals
Perform audits of company's main base and line stations for the adequacy/condition of facilities, equipment, manuals, fueling, and safety
Perform audits of company maintenance training programs
Perform audits of vendors for compliance to Federal Aviation Regulations and company requirements
Audit accomplished maintenance documentation for compliance with technical work instructions and completeness and accuracy
Assists in formulating effective corrective action and monitors the corrective action by performing spot checks and follow-up audits
Complete reporting requirements of Aloha Air Cargo Continuing Analysis Surveillance System
By direction of the Manager - Quality Control/Quality Assurance, conduct investigations and reports as it pertains to Aloha Air Cargo's CASP and/or corporate policies and procedures
Responsible for enforcement and sustaining the FAA's Safety Assurance System.
Approve and maintain vendor files and lists
Responsible for the configuring and management of the Quality Assurance Access Internal and External Databases
Hold quarterly CASS meetings to analyze audit findings and identify adverse trending
Manage AACs List of Approved Vendors
Work with vendors to determine appropriate root cause, corrective action, and preventative measures for all Audit findings
Approve new vendors utilizing audit processes and procedures
Assist IEP with audits of other departments
Accompany IEP on audits of Maintenance Department
Assist Part 121 carriers in their audit of Aloha Tech Ops Part 145 Repair Station
Review and approve AAC Maintenance Manuals, Publication Change Requests, and Inspection Alert Bulletins
Track Suspended Unapproved Parts notifications and ensure they are communicated throughout the Maintenance Department
Make necessary revisions to company manuals and documents
Maintain Fueling Manual and revise as necessary
Lead AAC fleet reliability analysis and coordinate with Northern Air Cargo on joint activities
Shall be responsible for additional duties delegated by the Manager - Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of a 2-year degree in a technical/aeronautical field or equivalent work experience required
- Must possess valid driver's license
- FAA A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate, or an Associate of Science degree in Aeronautical Field preferred.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations to include but not limited to; CASS (minimum 2-years' experience), Reliability Programs, operations specifications, auditing, IOSA, BASA, and EASA standards
- Minimum of 2-years technical report writing experience preferred
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

This position starts at $31.25 per hour.
