THE WORK
Product Quality Engineer Sr. (PQE) in support of SEMS Operations shall support the Quality Program Manager across multiple programs at the Owego site. The Product Quality Engineer Sr. (PQE) shall support assigned programs to ensure product delivered to the customer meets expectations and all requirements imposed. Program performance shall be monitored and reported, build documentation shall be reviewed and approved, and PQE will interface with CM, PC, and Program Management on a regular basis. PQE shall also support such activities as kit delivery, inspection activities, reclamation areas, manufacturing build, and packaging and shipping areas. Floor support includes: First Article Inspection per AS9100 of all parts and assemblies, investigation/resolution of problems/issues, monitoring/auditing/support to manufacturing, assembly and shipment. As requested from Quality Program Manager (QPM), review/input to SOW, preparation of Certificate of Conformance for assemblies and product to be shipped when required. Interface with internal departments regarding problem/issue review/resolution, Customer and DCMA interface when required.

Have knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices.

Exhibit business professionalism and values

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office
applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.

Ability to Lead RCCA Investigations and Oversee implementation of Preventive Actions

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Ability to travelPrevious experience working directly with, or in direct support of, Quality Assurance

Systems Applications and Products (SAP) experience/ Solumina Experience

Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)

Strong familiarity with Production Operations

Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment

Knowledge of data analytics / statistics with ability to perform under minimal guidance

Previous Quality Engineering experience

Complete understanding of Tableau, Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control
