Quality Control Manager Jobs in North Dakota

A Quality Assurance Director in the quality control industry is primarily responsible for managing and implementing the systems needed to ensure the quality of products or services. They oversee the planning, development and implementation of inspection systems and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met across the organization. In addition, they work closely with other departments such as production and purchasing to formulate quality control policies. They are also tasked with monitoring performance by gathering relevant data, producing statistical reports and making necessary adjustments in processes or systems.

Important skills for a Quality Assurance Director include good leadership and communication skills, ability to analyze data and make decisions, knowledge of quality assurance terminology, tools, and methodologies, and familiarity with industry regulations. Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) can enhance their credibility. Prior roles that can lead up to becoming a Quality Assurance Director include Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Control Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Specialist.
