QA Manager Jobs in New Mexico
A QA (Quality Assurance) Manager in the quality control industry is responsible for implementing and managing systems that ensure products meet established quality standards. These professionals oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to detect defects and deviations from specifications. The QA Manager plans, directs, coordinates, and leads activities to ensure quality control processes are effective. They're also responsible for training and leading QA team members, identifying issues in efficiency and suggest improvements, and ensuring that all tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out, and evaluated.

They should have a strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies, and proficiency with quality control software. Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) can also be beneficial. Prior to becoming a QA Manager, professionals might hold roles such as Quality Control Inspector, Quality Assurance Analyst, or Quality Assurance Engineer.
