Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing testing and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable government regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with military ordnance, including rockets and missiles, and a strong background in ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing and inspection procedures for raw materials, chemicals, and finished products.
• Conduct audits and analyze testing results to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Advise production and operations teams on quality control standards and best practices.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Maintain and update plant quality control manuals and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with military ordnance, explosives, rockets, or missiles.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 certification standards.
• Proficiency in quality inspection tools and documentation practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment.

Additional Requirements

• Safety shoes required for all on-site work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
