Capital Projects Field Engineer Matrix Service - Anacortes, WA
Job Summary
The Capital Projects Field Engineer is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive project support, ensuring constructability, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to solving field issues and coordinating with internal and external clients to achieve project goals.
Essential Functions
Actively demonstrates and supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

Conduct thorough constructability reviews to ensure project feasibility and provide necessary support.
Accurately read and interpret engineered blueprints for troubleshooting and RFI submittal.
Research and resolve any discrepancies in project scope.
Accurately estimate project costs and resources.
Monitor and track project costs to ensure budget adherence.
Establish and track productivity metrics.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely updates.
Oversee the procurement and tracking of materials.
Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
Ensure the maintenance of accurate as-built documents.
Develop and process Requests for Information (RFIs) efficiently.
Provide quality assurance and quality control support as required for turnover packages.
Coordinate effectively with project owners.
Offer comprehensive project support, including:
Solving field issues
Safety work plan support
QA/QC work plan support
Generate detailed reports on:
Cost performance
Labor productivity
QA/QC performance
Safety performance
Qualifications
1+ year(s) of refinery mechanical estimating preferred.
1+ year(s) of scheduling experience preferred.
5+ years of refinery field experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full range for this position, available over time: $52.53 to $63.04 per hour
