Education/Experience/Knowledge: --Bachelor's degree or equivalent courses and work experience in Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food industry, well acquainted with quality and food safety. -Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements. -Advanced knowledge in quality and food safety auditing processes. -PCQI, HACCP and/or SQF certification. -Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and Windows environment. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally and effectively. -Ability to receive communication from others and handle. -Ability to work as an integral part of the team. -Team building skills / develop good workplace relationships. -Problem solving. -High level of integrity. -Meticulousness and detail-oriented skills. -Analytical thinking skills. -Good knowledge of the implementation of policies and procedures. -Planning and organizing skills. -Availability to support and be present on the production floor daily. -Flexible to work weekends when needed. -Bilingual (English and Spanish).
