Automotive Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a detail oriented and mechanically inclined Automotive Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, cleaning, inspecting, and approving used automotive parts for resale. Your work will help ensure that only high-quality, functional parts are made available to customers.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and sort incoming used automotive parts.
- Clean and degrease parts using appropriate equipment and solvents.
- Inspect parts visually and functionally for wear, damage, or defects.
- Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Document inspection findings and determine if parts meet resale standards.
- Tag and categorize approved parts for inventory and resale.
- Collaborate with inventory and sales teams to ensure accurate part listings.
- Properly dispose of non-salvageable components according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines.
- Suggest improvements to the QC process and report recurring issues.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Familiarity with automotive parts catalog systems.
- Basic data entry and record keeping skills.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- Automotive parts knowledge/experience
