Job Summary

The Integration Center Quality Control (ICQC) Specialist will ensure configured devices leaving SHI Integration Centers comply with customer requirements. The ICQC Specialist will document accurate task instructions for customer orders. The ICQC Specialist performs audits and spot checks for compliance and documents results for corrective or preventative action reports.

The Quality Control Specialist at SHI International develops and implements quality control procedures, collaborates with various stakeholders to document build instructions, and conducts internal inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards. This role involves managing build documentation, interpreting technical manuals, and coordinating order inspections with cross-functional teams, while occasionally traveling to SHI offices and customer sites for inspections and presentations.

This position is performed from SHI's Piscataway, NJ Knox integration center location reporting to the Lead - Quality Control.

Role Description

  • Suggest and implement approved quality control operating procedures.

  • Interface with the sales, support, and configuration center staff to document accurate build instructions.

  • Independently solve problems with minimum input from management.

  • Follow Quality Control processes and documentation, as defined by our customers or Quality Manager.

  • Manage and organize the inventory of build documentation.

  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, manufacturers specifications, used in the installation and repair of electronic equipment.

  • Conduct and report internal inspections, spot checks, and evaluations.

  • Collaborate with Sales Team, Configuration Center Management, Integration Center Techs and Quality Control Team for customer orders regarding inspections and quality assurance.

  • Utilize internal systems for order research.

  • Ability to follow and document detailed testing processes.

  • May require travel to remote SHI offices for inspections and quality presentations.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures

Other Requirements

  • Completed Associate's Degree or relevant work experience required

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role required

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Standards preferred

  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events

The base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $70,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary, are $40,000 - $70,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. flexible spending.
