The Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Supervisor oversees quality processes and compliance at industrial job sites, ensuring all work meets regulatory, company practices and ASME standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, managing associated documentation of inspections, and providing support and guidance to team members. Maintains in depth knowledge of processes, codes, and job specifications and has the ability to perform required ASME design calculations. Experience/Education Requirements: 1-2 years of professional experience and knowledge of ASME Quality procedures as they relate to ASME BPVC. 4 -year Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited program, preferred Experience with NDE Practices, Welding Processes, and Materials AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred. Prior experience in the industrial industry / job sites is preferred Proficient with Microsoft Suite programs, Word, Excel and SharePoint. Understanding construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications. Ability to read and understand technical documents and symbols and apply this knowledge Must have valid US State driver's license with no restrictions Ability to travel 50% to 75% of the time to local and regional job sites Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Supervises and supports quality control for projects, as needed, for all jobs performed by Jamar, or in conjunction with another APi Group Company. Performs ASME design calculations for piping, boilers, and vessels. Oversees NDE inspection and reviews and approves associated documentation. Ensures products & workmanship meet and/or exceed standards and specifications Use of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate departmental requirements and objectives as well as communicate requirements across departments. Directs NDE Inspectors and other QA/QC personnel as needed. Reports on and reviews results of QA/QC and NDE inspections. Makes or requests changes and corrections as required. Audit the welder continuity log and maintain in conjunction with the QA/QC Administrative Assistant. Works at a pace sufficient to obtain quality and quantity of inspection/testing activities, consistent with operational requirements. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule. Work from job sites as required to support quality control functions. Track and document work activities and assemble required information for packages per our ASME programs. Represent the company, both internally and externally in a professional manner consistent with our values and mission. Actively participate in programs, policies and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company. These activities include sister company support for sales, marketing and lead sharing, participation in brainstorming sessions and an overall willingness to share ideas. This role will be based out of our Duluth MN office. The pay range is $66,000 to $99,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
