Quality Control Specialist

Staffmark is hiring a Quality Control Specialist in Jeffersonville, IN! Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining high-quality standards in computer product repair processes. If you have a passion for quality assurance and are ready to make a meaningful impact, this is the opportunity for you!

Pay: $17/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct 5S audits to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Perform ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) audits in compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards.
• Execute End-of-Line (EOL) and Out-of-Box Audits (OBA) to ensure quality compliance of repaired computer products.
• Provide quality training to technicians on best practices, ESD handling, and proper repair procedures.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Generate and maintain quality reports, metrics, and dashboards to track defects and improvements.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to confirm issue resolution and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Verify corrective actions and confirm problem resolution before shipment.
• Participate in quality review meetings and contribute to the development of SOPs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in electronics, computer repair, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ANSI/ESD S20.20, 5S methodology, and ISO 9001 (preferred).
• Experience with EOL/OBA audits, defect tracking, and quality metrics reporting.
• Computer repair experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to train technicians and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with quality reporting tools is a plus.
• Certified ESD Technician (iNARTE or equivalent) preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) and Certified Quality Technician (CQT) are a plus.
