We are currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) located in Baltimore, MD and surrounding communities .
Overview:
CMTS LLC is a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to oversee and enhance quality assurance protocols, ensuring that assigned project(s) meet the highest standards of project quality compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance protocols, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with both contractors, client representatives and existing client operations personnel to establish quality benchmarks and drive initiatives that sustain exceptional service quality. If client prefers, the QAR will also lead the training and development of staff members to understand quality assurance processes and their importance in daily operations. Strong analytical skills will be essential as well for identifying quality issues and implementing corrective action plans as necessary. Our ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of industry regulations and standards, with a proven track record in quality assurance oversight.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, communications, or project management or if pre-approved and with client concurrence, related work experience.
Preferred Certifications/Licenses:
- Construction Quality Management (CQM) - US Army Corps of Engineers Certification
or
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) - Certification
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess the following skills and abilities,
Proactive individuals who can effectively collaborate with various departments
- Understand quality assurance processes and their importance in daily operations
- Strong analytical skills
- Understand industry regulations and standards, with a proven track record in quality assurance management.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies, such as ISO 9001, FTA or FAA Requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards per project specifications and client expectations.
- Analyze and report on quality metrics and trends to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Design and conduct training programs for staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality assurance processes and audits.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall service quality and operational efficiency.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary:
- $48.00 / Hour
