Job Description
Job Description As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing inspection and daily quality control activities for incoming materials, work in-process, and final inspections and testing of finished products to ensure they meet specification and quality standards. Your role is pivotal in conducting quality assurance tests and inspections, documenting and reporting any defects or issues found, and collaborating with the Quality Manager to develop and implement quality control procedures. Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance tests and inspections on products.
- Document and report defects or issues found during inspections.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of testing results and quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Test and process all raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods samples in a timely manner.
- Perform QA floor audits and analysis.
- Document test results as per quality control testing procedures.
- Evaluate test results and communicate deviations to the QA Supervisor.
- Prepare samples for microbial testing and evaluation at contract labs.
- Enter data into various systems and spreadsheets for QA program reporting.
- Bake samples in the lab.
- Perform pre-op and changeover inspections, including collecting ATP swabs.
- Enter test data and release products in the ERP (OLX) system.
- Segregate and mark any non-conforming products.
- Experience in quality control, laboratory, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with food laboratory environments.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of consistent work history in food manufacturing or quality control.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and Saturdays or Sundays.
