Quality Assurance Manager

Job description

Job Summary: Reviewing and responsibilities for the effective application of the quality management system to ensure its continuing suitability and effectiveness to produce quality products and services. The position is also responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting the meetings in addition to monitoring and documenting the status of action items and serves and the Company's Quality and Food Safety System Representative. Other duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring that quality planning is consistent with all requirements of the Quality Management System Policies, ISO, FSMS, FSSC at the Company.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field from a four-year college or university in addition to three to five years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be an experienced leader.
• Must have above average computer skills, be flexible, a good communicator, personable, organized, able to prioritize effectively, and self-motivated.

Language Skills:

• Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or member of the business community.
• Effectively present information to management, employees, Board of Directors, and suppliers.
• Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
• Make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or Board of Directors.

Mathematical Skills:

• Work with mathematical concepts having to do with statistical quality.
• Requires a basic understanding of fractions, percentages, ratios, and mathematical formulas.
• Comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.
• Work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to define problems at their source, to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
• Deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases.
• Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
