Quality Control Specialist

Job summary

The Quality Control Specialist is a critical member of the Quality team. The QC Specialist is responsible for inspecting products for non-conformances and working with various teams to implement corrective actions.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Perform quality control inspections per the Quality Control Inspection Procedure for packaging and shipping.

Perform all necessary follow-up relative to completed NCRs, including, but not limited to, the coordination of team meetings, scheduling training/re-training, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Review and log incoming customer NCRs, facilitate and drive investigation with the operations department; submit the first draft of a response.

Work with site leadership to schedule NCR-related standdowns and document employee participation in each standdown.

Complete and document routine V&V of NCRs.

Complete photo verification at a pre-determined, site specific, or percentage-based rate.

Minimum requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior quality control experience

Clear understanding of operational process and procedure

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication skills

Must possess critical thinking skills
