SUMMARY
- The Quality Assurance Manager will drive industry leading Quality performance in our Baytown Manufacturing Plant and US Field Operations. This position actively promotes Quality excellence and ensures consistency with our parent company's manufacturing plants and with the FlexSteel Quality Management System (QMS).

- Own and maintain the local Quality Management System(QMS) ensuring continued compliance to ISO, API and applicable industry standards.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state and local agencies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal, and accreditation audits, coordinating audit activities and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Champion company Quality initiatives and programs and promote excellence in Quality performance
- Ensure that Procedures, Specifications and Work Instructions are current, represent best practices and are consistent with the company Quality Management System
- Oversee Document Control processes and provide review/approval where required
- Provide leadership in ensuring all operations and activities follow company Quality policies and procedures
- Maintain Quality metrics and support company reporting mechanisms
- With the HSE Manager, facilitate equipment and/or design Risk Assessments and ensure that controls and preventative measures are properly implemented and verified
- Willingness to challenge existing processes and escalate quality concerns
- Facilitate and lead critical Quality and Continuous Improvement projects
- Manage Approved Vendor List (AVL) including compliance surveys and vendor audits / approvals
- Oversee and drive the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Customer Resolution System(CRS) process
- Drive investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective or preventive actions and ensure outcomes are properly performed and implemented
- Responsible for Cost of Quality metrics
- Responsible for company Quality Training programs and compliance
- Create and approve Quality and Inspection plans
- Conduct Quality audits of contractors, subcontractors and partners as required
- Schedule and perform internal process audits throughout the plant and services
- Support customer bid and project compliance activities, as required
- Other duties as assigned

- Provide Quality leadership and mentoring to all Manufacturing Plant & Field personnel.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibility for hiring, firing, conducting disciplinary actions and performance appraisals
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in Manufacturing environment required.
- 5 years of experience in a Quality leadership role required.
- Experience in Oil & Gas industry preferred.
