As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. You will lead and develop people, processes, and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency You will work on comprehensive reports, provide timely responses, and be the point of contact between the various departments within the company and customers. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.
Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
How you create impact- Support Quality Manager, Branch Management for the implementation, ongoing maintenance of and compliance to the Kuehne + Nagel Quality Management Systems
- Coordinate and assist with all Quality Assurance activities for the branch in accordance with KN regional and national Quality & QSHE requirements
- Ensure processes from the integrated management system (QMS) to be adapted, implemented and maintained on branch level
- Responsibilities include execution and continuous improvement of quality management system, oversight of quality performance, issue handling, support to GMP/GDP capability development on distribution process and at distributors.
- Coordinating and completing Training activities
- Coordinating and support of quality matters related to KNs Products (Contract Logistics PharmaChain)
- Coordinate and assist with all matters related to Quality, Safety Health, Environment, and Security matters within the branch
- Performing self-audits for compliance
- Assisting in hosting of audits by Clients, Customers, third parties or Government agencies.
- Coordinating the implementation of new/revised standards and procedures.
- Communicating within the branch the relevant subject matters related to QSHE
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 3-5 years within Pharma industry within Operations and/or Quality assurance.
- 2 or more years in a supervisory role in a warehousing environment
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Knowledgeable of ISO9001/AS9100 standards
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and/or Continuous Improvement strategies
- ISO 13485 Norm (desirable)
- ISO 9001 Norm
- ISO 14001 Norm (desirable)
- ISO 45001 Norm (desirable)
- Internal Candidates:
- Minimum 1 year with KN
- Operational knowledge of KN procedures
- General knowledge in KN Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of KNs Quality & QSHE policies, guidelines and work instructions
