Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to make decisions with respect to acceptability of production parts.
Assist CMM Technician with dimensional layouts when needed.
Assist in resolution of problems and responding to customer and supplier needs.
Assist with capability studies and statistical process control.
Assure dimensional, gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies are in the production part approval process submissions.
Coordinate the performance of the calibration and verification of the measuring devices
Interprets engineering drawings.
Maintain the necessary gauges, tools, meters, instruments, and equipment in the calibration system along with all records required.
Working knowledge of all dimensional metrology and equipment.
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure proper quality of work and efficiency.
Travel is not likely or 0%.
Training needs are based on Techniplas’ ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 training matrix for this position.
Other duties as assigned according to the job classification and overtime may be assigned.

Familiar with Scan Faro Arm / Hexagon
Experience with Polyworks.
