Quality Line Inspector
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Ensure testing and inspection turnaround times are met.
- Assist with product and material sampling activities.
- Coordinate sample submissions to contract laboratories and follow up on testing results and investigations.
- Review and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including test protocols, SOPs, reports, and investigations.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints and product quality issues.
- Support product and process development activities related to transferring new products into manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, cGMP, cGDP, and cGLP requirements.
- Review, verify, and approve production cleaning activities.
- Perform material qualification testing and prepare Material Qualification Reports (MQRs).
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, inspect, and test materials.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and move throughout production and warehouse areas.
- Must have sufficient visual acuity to inspect products and identify quality defects.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to production equipment.
- Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately document findings and maintain records.
- Basic computer skills and experience working with quality documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
