Position: Quality Control Inspector / CMM Programmer
Location: Wood Village, Oregon
Pay: $25$30+/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-time (Schedule details provided during interview; standard production hours)

What Youll Do:
  • Program, test, and operate CMM equipment using Zeiss Calypso software
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision components
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools for dimensional verification
  • Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and apply strong GD&T principles
  • Generate inspection reports, analyze data, and document non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • Support troubleshooting of part and process issues with production teams
  • Maintain CMM accuracy through calibration checks and proper upkeep

What You Need to Have:
  • 35+ years of CMM programming and operation experience
  • Strong proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software
  • Solid understanding of GD&T principles
  • Experience in precision manufacturing environments (aerospace, semiconductor, automation, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and 3D CAD models
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

The Musts:
  • Hands-on CMM programming experience (Calypso required)
  • Proven experience with inspection processes and documentation
  • Strong GD&T knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and accurately in a quality-driven environment

Preferred:
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • AS9100 familiarity or experience working in regulated environments
  • Experience with high-volume, tight-tolerance production inspection
  • Strong background in data reporting and quality systems
