DPP is seeking a Test Analyst for an opportunity with our client in the banking sector in Columbia, SC.

Work location: Hybrid (Onsite Tues., Wed., Thurs. Remote on Mon. and Fri.)
Duration: 6 months, 40 hrs/week
Term : W2 contract

Position summary:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst with proven experience in Salesforce and nCino to support end-to-end testing for an enterprise banking transformation program.
  • This role will be integral in validating the functionality, performance, and data integrity of a multi-pod platform implementation that spans origination, underwriting, booking, document prep, and CRM processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, nCino workflows, and commercial banking processes. AgLending is a Plus, but is not required.
Key responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases across Salesforce and nCino along with other downstream applications based on requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives.
  • Identify test scenarios and design test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of functionalities.
  • Analyze requirements and specifications to identify potential gaps and ambiguities.
  • Perform integration testing with external systems including document management, core banking, and third-party credit systems.
  • Develop and maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are covered by test cases.
  • Maintain test documentation including scripts, logs, and regression packs.
  • Perform risk analysis to prioritize testing efforts based on potential impact.
Test Execution:
  • Execute manual test cases and report defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
  • Validate fixes and perform retesting of resolved issues.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify unexpected behaviors and edge cases.
  • Perform integration testing to ensure different components of the application work together seamlessly.
  • Utilize test data management techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Defect Management:
  • Log defects with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
  • Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Document test results, including pass/fail status, defect details, and test coverage.
  • Maintain test documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Create detailed test analysis reports to provide insights into test coverage and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom objects), preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of experience testing nCino platform modules (preferably commercial lending), preferred
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using test management and bug tracking tools, similar to ADO.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in test analysis and requirement validation.
  • Ability to perform risk-based testing and prioritize test efforts accordingly.
Preferred skills:
  • Experience with testing tools.
  • Experience testing data migration or data transformation between legacy systems and Salesforce/nCino.
  • Familiar with database structure Redgate, preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking or financial services, particularly lending workflows.
  • Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
