Evaluate new and existing suppliers in coordination with Commodity Managers.Monitor supplier performance and take action with suppliers failing to meet minimum requirements.Conduct supplier readiness activities associated with New Product Launches to ensure sourced suppliers are fully prepared for launch.Resolve any supplier issues escalated to Supplier Development from the MEC Manufacturing Plants.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Skills RequirementsStrong communications skills (verbal and written).Strong Conflict management skills.Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Quality Tools (APQP, FMEA, Process Flow, Corrective Action, Control Plans, etc.).Experience conducting audits of suppliers.Leadership skills to conduct meetings with co-workers and suppliers.Strong negotiation skills.Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience required.Experience RequirementsThree years of supply chain experience required.Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
