LHH is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead the quality team and ensure overall quality control of processes, raw materials, and products. This role requires proven leadership skills to guide and support a team, excellent analytical skills, and 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience implementing and executing projects and proficiency with statistical software. This direct hire role is in Bourbonnais, IL and the anticipated salary is between $90,000-$130,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the quality team and lab personnel
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure overall quality control of raw materials and products
- Review quality data daily and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and industry standards
- Provide technical support to customers and act as primary technical liaison between manufacturing sites
- Lead customer and compliance audits
- Oversee quality control/analytical budget
- Manage sample retain program
- Oversee quality control/analytical budget

- Manage final quality batch release
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry preferred) or 10+ years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a production quality control lab, leading Quality Assurance or R&D department
- At least 1 year of experience in a GMP environment
- Proficiency with statistical software
- Demonstrated experience implementing and executing projects
- Proven leadership skills and excellent analytical skills
- Experience with food safety, dietary supplements or other FDA regulated product manufacturing preferred
