About the Role
Ironclad Property Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Field Inspector to join our growing team.
This is a growth-oriented position designed for someone who enjoys working both in the office and in the field. The role combines property inspections, vendor coordination, documentation, and operational support to help ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in property management, maintenance, construction, inspections, real estate, or a related field. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine property inspections throughout Central Connecticut
- Take detailed photos and document property conditions
- Identify maintenance concerns, safety issues, lease violations, and turnover needs
- Complete inspection reports accurately and promptly
- Follow up on completed vendor work to ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate with the property management team regarding repairs and property issues
- Assist with property turnovers and readiness inspections
- Visit occupied and vacant residential properties as needed
- Help maintain company standards across all managed properties
- Support office operations and special projects when required

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel between properties throughout the workday
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and technology for reporting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Professional demeanor when interacting with residents, vendors, and owners
- Interest in technology, process improvement, and operational efficiency
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or other productivity and automation platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
- Property management experience
- Construction, maintenance, or handyman experience
- Property inspection experience
- Real estate experience or interest in obtaining a real estate license
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary of approximately $38,000 per year, paid bi-weekly
