We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This role is responsible for performing detailed inspections, utilizing precision measurement tools, managing quality processes, and maintaining compliance with ISO9001/2015 & AS9100 standards.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QC Inspection role within a CNC Machining work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspection and Quality Control
Perform detailed inspections using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), both manual and programmed, for precision measurement.
Conduct inspections at various stages: receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspection.
Identify defects or discrepancies, report findings to the Quality Manager, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Maintain accuracy in measurements according to blueprints, GD&T principles, and quality specifications.
Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process and lead Corrective Action implementations.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong understanding of quality control standards and best practices.
Experience with CMM operation (programming desirable but not required)
Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and plug gauges.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and job travelers.
Experience in internal auditing and corrective action processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $35-$38/hr Shift 8am-4:30pm Mon.-Fri.
