Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Ontario, CA

Pay: $23.50 per hour

Available Shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM 6:30 AM

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Weekends and overtime may be required

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

We are currently hiring Quality Assurance Technicians for a food manufacturing facility in Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with quality control experience who are detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining high food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production process
Perform inspections and testing to ensure products meet safety and quality standards
Maintain accurate quality assurance records and documentation
Support GMP, food safety, and quality compliance programs
Work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to improve efficiency and quality
Identify and report quality concerns or discrepancies
Ensure manufacturing areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
Assist with quality training initiatives throughout the facility
Support continuous improvement efforts within the plant
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

23 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications
Understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
Ability to taste food products with no food-related allergies or aversions
Strong attendance record and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required
Related experience and training may be considered in lieu of formal education

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds
Reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and climbing stairs as needed
Ability to work in a warehouse and food production environment
Exposure to cold temperatures, including freezer areas
Must be able to work in a fast-paced production setting

Must be able to pass a background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
