Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Staff Systems Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Forces sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
In support of the Sentinel System Test Team and the Test Strategy Pivot collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced test concepts, techniques and requirements.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Coordinate schedules, and provide Liaison assistance between the interfacing Teams
- Support the Team with vertical and horizontal integration activities in Roy Utah

Basic Qualifications
Typical Minimum Education or Experience
- 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD; OR an additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope,( obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
- Demonstrated expertise in test engineering methodologies as well as the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for large-scale, complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Past experience with Flight Test Test Campaigns
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Range Requirements and 91-710 Familiarity
- Experience leading/technical owner of Design Reviews for Flight Test/ Launch campaigns
- Demonstrated experience of Technical Leadership across organizational boundaries to include customer interaction
- Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).
- Experience working with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
- Experience facilitating Program Reviews
- Experience leading hardware procurement/supply chain operations
- Possesses strong leadership qualities, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in system development
- Experience working within a multi-team environment
- Experience with tableau and data analytics
- Experience with Agile Project Management
- Experience with creating and monitoring test metrics

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
