You will be the Associate Manager Quality Engineering (Cable/Harness/Assembly) for the Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for delivering highquality electronic assemblies, machined and welded parts, and safetycritical systems for defense and commercial customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Associate Manager Quality Engineering (Cable/Harness/Assembly) you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function that supports the Cable/Harness & ElectroMechanical Assembly area.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise direct reports, including career development, performance reviews, and staffing.
- Oversee qualityengineering work assignments such as quoting, capacity planning, budgeting, and capital planning.
- Lead internal and external IPT meetings, correctiveaction boards, and qualitymetric reviews.
- Implement mistakeproofing, continuousimprovement initiatives, and ISO9001/AS9100 compliance.
- Collaborate with other LockheedMartin sites to harmonize processes and achieve mission success.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
STEM degree at the Bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined educationExperience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (ie SAP, Apriso, etc.)
Experience with root cause analysis and evaluations
Experience working successfully in a team environment.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher preferred.
Experience with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience leading a group of technical individuals.
Experience with cable/harness and electro/mechanical assembly standards
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B and/or auditing experience with these standards
Experience in Quality, Engineering and/or Production Operations
Experience with MRB and dispositioning of nonconformances
Experience writing technical reports
Experience interfacing and interacting with DCMA and/or other government customers
Certified Green Belt or experience with lean manufacturing and failure analysis
Certifications or knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD-001
