Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, highbandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks,Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable theelectronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMsglobally. We are currently seeking a Customer Quality Manager to join our team.The position will be located in Santa Clara, California and will require a highlevel of direct customer interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage product and process quality, with a primary focus on new productintroduction as well as legacy volume production, to meet customer satisfactionand business unit metrics.Responsible for managing all quality related aspects of customerrelationships, including corrective action processes.This person will be the primary contact for customers regarding qualityconcerns and the required improvement plans that Amphenol needs to drive toaddress those concerns.Lead efforts to address and resolve customer quality issues incollaboration with internal teams.Drive customer quality related communication and presentations.Monitor and analyze quality related data with site level quality engineersor quality managers and make recommendations for improvement activities at allmanufacturing locations, driving measurable results aligned to business levelgoals.Manage customer quality requirements through documentation review, processcapability/control review with manufacturing locations, and participating indevelopment engineering phase gate management review activities.Responsible for business unit level customer quality metrics and improvementinitiatives; involves monthly reporting and review with the BU leadership team.Develop and implement quality training initiatives for customers and theirrespective programs.Perform initial and ongoing assessment of quality events at OEM / CMfacilities as requiredTravel up to 50%

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Engineering, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.Quality management experience with strong supervisory and leadership skills.Working knowledge and proven leadership in continuous improvement activitiesand formal quality management programs (DMAIC and 8D).Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).Understanding of product documentation and technical drawings with emphasison GD&T.Knowledgeable in semiconductor and interconnect industry manufacturingprocesses and standardsGood communication and customer interface skills.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $189,260. In determiningrate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors,including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience,qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to behired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facetof Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in ourcomprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefitseffective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, lifeinsurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K.
