Our client, a leading organization in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QUA Technician to join their team. As a QUA Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Control department, supporting analytical chemistry operations that ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: QUA Technician

Location: Cottage Grove, MN

Pay Range:20-22/hr
12 hour swing shift schedule.

What's the Job?

  • Perform and document analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Calibrate and evaluate analytical instrumentation, contributing to the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in evaluating new testing methods and conducting measurement systems analyses to improve laboratory processes.
  • Prioritize incoming testing requests and collaborate with manufacturing and research teams to communicate testing status and results.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting on laboratory equipment and escalate issues as needed to ensure continuous testing operations.

What's Needed?

  • Experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory or similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rotating shift schedule including overnight shifts.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in operating laboratory instrumentation and performing quality control activities.
