What You’ll Do As our 3rd Shift Quality Technician, you will be the gatekeeper of our product excellence during the night hours. Your main focus will be:

  • Performing routine quality inspections on materials and finished products using standard gauges, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Reading blueprints and technical drawings to ensure everything meets exact specifications.

  • Documenting inspection results and flagging any non-conforming items.

  • Collaborating with the production team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing setting.

  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

  • Mindset: Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on the third shift.

  • Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills for logging data.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection & Testing: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges

  • Process Auditing: Conduct regular audits on the production floor to ensure operators are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

  • Documentation: Accurately record inspection data, maintain quality logs, and generate detailed Quality Reports.

  • Defect Management: Identify, tag, and segregate non-conforming (defective) materials. Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in root-cause analysis.

  • Equipment Calibration: Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory and production testing equipment to ensure accuracy.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) teams to help eliminate recurring production defects.
