Senior QA tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Analyst to join our dynamic software testing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and a deep expertise in Selenium with Java, end-to-end testing of the application. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• End-to-end testing of the application, validating data and functionality of the application
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance.
• Participate in test planning and strategy discussions, providing insights based on testing best practices.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testing team members, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools in software testing and automation.

• Proficient in Selenium with Java for automated testing.
• End-to-end testing of the application
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Understanding of API testing and related tools.
• Experience with other programming languages or testing frameworks.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
