This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing project quality programs that ensure work meets codes, specifications, and customer expectations. You will lead inspection teams, coordinate NDE, manage submittals, and serve as the primary quality liaison to customers and regulators.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the Project QA/QC Program in accordance with nuclear and high security requirements and company quality standards.Lead QA/QC staff by assigning tasks, mentoring inspectors, and overseeing performance and development.Plan, perform, and document inspections including dimensional, visual, weld, installation, equipment, piping, and other required checks.Coordinate subcontractor and vendor quality to ensure compliance with project requirements and integrate inspection activities across all participants.Manage NDE activities including scheduling, documentation, acceptance review, and coordination with NDE providers.Prepare and track QC technical submittals and drive timely approvals from customer representatives.Serve as primary quality liaison to the customer for meetings, audits, assessments, and day to day quality matters.Perform receiving inspections of materials and equipment to verify conformance with purchase orders and specifications.Analyze quality trends and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve performance.Support project closeout by assembling turnover documentation, maintaining quality records, and facilitating final acceptance.Required Skills and AttributesAWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required.
