Entry-Level QC Analyst, Chemistry

Our client a leading healthcare & life sciences provider is seeking a Entry-Level QC Analyst, Chemistry to join their team! This position is located in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our client at their Myerstown, PA location. The QA Analyst will perform quality assurance tests and provide development or troubleshooting. This team is responsible for QC testing of over-the-counter pharmaceutical in process and finished packaged goods. Core Responsibilities Perform standard qualitative and quantitative analysis on in-process products, pure drug substances, and finished pharmaceutical preparations Utilize standard "bench" chemistry technique as well as sophisticated electronic instrumentation, including HPLC, spectrophotometer, viscometer, etc. Maintain records of all analysis information of assigned products on data sheets for permanent file and proper entry of information on laboratory forms Perform routine analytical testing of in-process, finished bulk/stability products to determine that the materials meet compendia and/or company standards Adhere to the pertinent aspects of corporate safety programs and adhering to GMP's, ISO standards, or other regulations Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Bachelors degree in related field 0+ years of lab experience needed, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Working knowledge of statistics, data processing and good manufacturing practices is needed Knowledge, practical application, and understanding of analytical chemistry is required Experience in wet analytical methods and instrumentation techniques preferred; HPLC, UV, GC, IR, and AA preferred Key Competencies & Behaviors Precision in testing Documentation skills Attention to detail Work Environment Location: Myerstown, PA Onsite Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $58,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
