Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager or Supervisor for a food production/manufacturing company in Long Prairie, MN. In this role, you'll lead plant-wide quality initiatives, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and help build a culture focused on continuous improvement and product excellence. What You'll Do as a Quality Manager:

Lead food safety and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards

Oversee and implement SQF, GMP, and SOP programs across production and packaging operations

Monitor quality performance and partner with production leaders to drive continuous improvement

Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure corrective actions are completed

Develop and train employees to build plant-wide quality awareness and accountability

Investigate and resolve quality issues while recommending process improvements

What You Need to Bring to the Quality Manager Role:

5+ years of experience leading SQF or similar food safety programs (preferred)

5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, including food production or packaging

Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field preferred

Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (GFSI, SQF, GMPs, food safety requirements)

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
